  • Instant Acrylic Carton Closure
  • Split-Resistant BOPP Handling
  • Cold-Temperature Packaging Use

Product Description

Tartan Box Sealing Tape 305 is a 1.8 mil (0.046 mm) biaxially oriented polypropylene tape with a pressure-sensitive acrylic adhesive for general-purpose carton closure. The conformable backing wraps edges and rough recycled corrugate while resisting abrasion, moisture, scuffing, edge tear, and splitting during application. Instant adhesion requires no moisture, heat, or solvent activation, supporting smooth hand dispensing, manual dispensers, and case-sealing equipment. The clear or tan tape is intended for lightweight boxes exposed to minimal distribution hazards and performs in cold-temperature packaging work. It also resists yellowing, weathering, and UV exposure in lightweight carton-sealing service.

Key features

  • Conformable BOPP backing: The polypropylene film follows carton edges and rough recycled corrugate for a tight closure.
  • Instant acrylic adhesion: The pressure-sensitive adhesive requires no moisture, heat, or solvent activation.
  • Split-resistant handling: The backing provides edge-tear and split resistance during carton-sealing application.

Applications

Suitable for lightweight carton sealing, food and beverage packaging, recycled liner paper and fiberboard, cold-temperature use, bag closure, and cartons exposed to UV light and aging.
