Product Description
3M Scotch-Weld Structural Adhesives Primer EC-3924B is a single-component, corrosion-inhibiting epoxy primer for prepared metal surfaces used with compatible 250 deg F-curing 3M structural adhesive films. It protects cleaned metal inside and outside the bondline and can also serve as a corrosion-resistant coating. The primer can be sprayed, brushed, or rolled after warming to ambient temperature and thoroughly agitating to redisperse settled pigment. Recommended dry-film thickness is 0.05 to 0.15 mil inside the bondline and 0.05 to 0.3 mil outside it. The recommended bake cycle is 30 minutes at 24 deg C followed by 60 minutes at 121 +/- 5.6 deg C.
