ALPHA EF-6100-R
Harmonization Code : 3208.20.90 | Paints and varnishes that are dispersed or dissolved in a non aqueous medium

Main features
- Low-solids, alcohol-based no-clean rework flux supporting both lead-free and tin-lead soldering with fast wetting and a wide thermal process window.
- Very low levels of non-tacky residue help minimize interference with pin testing while supporting no-clean processing.
- ORL0 classification backed by documented IPC J-STD-004A/J-STD-004B SIR, Bellcore SIR, electromigration, and corrosion test results.
Product Description
ALPHA EF-6100-R No-Clean Rework Flux is a low-solids, alcohol-based flux developed for lead-free and tin-lead rework soldering. Its thermally stable activator and solvent system supports fast wetting across different solder alloys while maintaining a wide thermal process window. The no-clean formulation leaves a very low level of non-tacky residue and is designed to reduce interference with pin testing. ALPHA EF-6100-R is classified ORL0 according to IPC J-STD-004 and has documented surface insulation resistance and electromigration performance. It can be applied using a flux pen, brush, or spray bottle for localized rework operations.
Key features
- Lead-free and tin-lead rework capability: Provides fast wetting across different Pb-free and SnPb alloys with a wide thermal process window.
- Low-residue no-clean formulation: Leaves a very low level of non-tacky residue designed to reduce interference with pin testing.
- Documented electrical reliability: ORL0 flux with documented IPC J-STD-004A/J-STD-004B SIR and Bellcore SIR and electromigration test results.
Applications / Suitable for
- Lead-free soldering rework
- Tin-lead soldering rework
- Localized flux application using flux pens, brushing, or spray bottles
