Product Description
ALPHA SM-351F Liquid Soldering Flux uses a low-solids no-clean liquid formulation without halides, rosin, or resin for foam and wave soldering. It is designed for fast wetting and leaves a very small amount of barely visible, tack-free, noncorrosive residue. This residue profile supports accurate pin testing and eliminates a required post-solder cleaning step under the documented use conditions. The flux is classified ORL0 under IPC J-STD-004 and L3NC under IPC-SF-818. As supplied, it contains 2.1% solids, has an 11 deg C flash point, and carries a 540-day shelf life. Typical specific gravity is 0.812 +/- 0.005 at 25 deg C; acid number is 16.5 +/- 1.0 mg KOH/g.
