Main features
- Water-Resistant Epoxy Bonding
- Up to 0.197-Inch Gap Bonding
- Low-Outgassing Vacuum Bonding
Product Description
ARALDITE® 2014 is a two-component, room-temperature-curing epoxy paste structural adhesive for bonding metals, electronic components, GRP structures and other assemblies exposed to elevated temperatures or aggressive service environments. The grey mixed adhesive is thixotropic, fills gaps without sagging up to 0.197 in (5 mm), and has an approximate 40-minute pot life for a 100 g mix at 77°F. It combines high strength with low shrinkage and documented resistance to water and multiple chemicals. Low outgassing also supports specialist electronic, telecommunications and aerospace bonding applications. The mix ratio is 2:1 resin to hardener by weight or volume.
Key features
- Environmental resistance: High-temperature and chemical resistance with documented water and chemical-immersion performance.
- Controlled gap filling: Thixotropic, non-sagging paste fills gaps up to 0.197 in (5 mm).
- Low-outgassing formulation: Suitable for specialist electronic, telecommunications and aerospace bonding applications.
Applications / Suitable for
- Metal and GRP structural bonding
- Electronic component assembly
- Specialist telecommunications and aerospace bonding where low outgassing is relevant
