Product Description
ARALDITE® 2015-1 is a two-component, room-temperature-curing epoxy paste structural adhesive for GRP, SMC and dissimilar-substrate bonding. The toughened, resilient system mixes 1:1 by weight or volume and forms a beige, thixotropic adhesive that fills gaps without sagging up to 10 mm. A 100 g mix provides a 45–55 minute pot life at 25°C, while specified lap shear strength of the mixed adhesive is greater than 15 MPa at 25°C. The technical data also documents cure-rate behavior across 10–100°C and evaluates bonded-joint performance after tropical humidity exposure, fluid immersion, heat aging and thermal cycling. Proper surface degreasing and abrasion or chemical etching are recommended for the strongest and most durable joints.
