ARALDITE AW106

Main features

  • Multi-Material Epoxy Bonding
  • Long Adhesive Working Time
  • Electrically Insulating Epoxy

Product Description

ARALDITE® AW 106 Resin / Hardener HV 953U is a two-part, multi-purpose epoxy adhesive for bonding metals, ceramics, wood, vulcanized rubber, foams, and plastics. The viscous system has a 100:80 mix ratio by weight and a long working time for manual application by spatula or stiff brush, as well as mechanical mixing and coating equipment. It cures at temperatures from 20°C to 180°C and develops shear and peel strength for bonded assemblies exposed to static or dynamic loading. The cured adhesive is electrically insulating, supporting bonding applications where electrical isolation is also required.

Key features

  • Multi-material bonding: Suitable for metals, ceramics, wood, rubber, foams, and plastics.
  • Long working time: Provides a typical 2-hour pot life for a 4 fl oz mixed mass at 25°C.
  • Electrically insulating: Combines structural bonding performance with dielectric properties.

Applications / Suitable for

  • General-purpose assembly bonding
  • Metal, ceramic, and wood bonding
  • Plastic, foam, and vulcanized-rubber assemblies
  • Bonded assemblies requiring electrical insulation
