Product Description
CONAP® S-1 Reducing Solvent is a water-white blend of alcohol and aromatic hydrocarbon solvents used to adjust the viscosity of CONAP AD-1146 and AD-1147 adhesive primers. The reducing solvent supports brush, dip, and spray application processes and may also be used to compensate for evaporative losses or for compatible cleanup work. It is added at room temperature and kept tightly sealed to limit evaporation. Typical as-supplied properties include a specific gravity of 0.83 to 0.86 at 20°C and a flash point of 7°C.
Key features
- Primer viscosity adjustment: The solvent is documented for CONAP AD-1146 and AD-1147 adhesive primers.
- Brush, dip, and spray use: The formulation supports multiple primer-application methods.
- Controlled solvent properties: Typical specific gravity is 0.83 to 0.86 with a 7°C flash point.
Applications / Suitable for
- Reducing CONAP AD-1146 adhesive primer
- Reducing CONAP AD-1147 adhesive primer
- Compatible cleanup and evaporative-loss compensation
