CONATHANE S-8
Harmonization Code : 3208.20.90 | Paints and varnishes that are dispersed or dissolved in a non aqueous medium

Main features
- CONATHANE Conformal-Coating Reducing Solvent
- Dip and Spray Viscosity Adjustment
- Evaporative-Loss Makeup and Process Cleanup
Product Description
CONAP® S-8 Reducing Solvent is a reducing solvent blend for adjusting the viscosity of specified CONATHANE polyurethane conformal coatings. ELANTAS documentation identifies a blend of glycol ether and aromatic hydrocarbon solvents for use with CE-1155, CE-1155-35, and CE-1164 coating systems. The material supports dip and spray application processes, may be used to compensate for evaporative losses, and is also documented for compatible cleanup. It is intended for controlled coating processes where the specified reducer must remain matched to the conformal-coating system.
Key features
- Urethane coating reducer: The solvent is documented for CONATHANE CE-1155, CE-1155-35, and CE-1164 coatings.
- Dip and spray processing: The formulation supports viscosity adjustment for both application methods.
- Process maintenance: It may compensate for evaporative losses and support compatible cleanup.
Applications / Suitable for
- Reducing CONATHANE CE-1155 and CE-1155-35
- Reducing CONATHANE CE-1164
- Dip, spray, and compatible cleanup processes
