Main features
- 100 cP Resin Viscosity
- Concentrations from 0.1% to 5% by Weight
- Two-Component RTV Silicone Systems Used in Potting
Product Description
CoolTherm™ SC-6731 Hardener is a low-viscosity curing agent for use with compatible CoolTherm™ and Circalok™ silicone resins to form two-component, room-temperature-vulcanizing silicone systems for potting and encapsulation. The light amber, translucent liquid has a typical viscosity of 100 cP at 25°C and may be used at concentrations from 0.1% to 5% by weight, depending on the selected resin and required cure rate. Product-specific mixing ratios, working times, and cure schedules must be taken from the applicable silicone resin datasheet.
Key features
- Low viscosity: Provides a typical viscosity of 100 cP at 25°C for incorporation into compatible silicone resin systems.
- Adjustable concentration: May be used at 0.1% to 5% by weight, depending on the cure rate required and the applicable resin formulation.
- Silicone-system versatility: Designed for use with various CoolTherm and Circalok silicone resins used in RTV potting and encapsulation systems.
Applications / Suitable for
- Compatible CoolTherm and Circalok RTV silicone resin systems
- Two-component silicone potting and encapsulation systems
