Product Description
DOWSIL™ SE 1714 Adhesive is a one-part, black or beige, flowable addition-cure silicone adhesive and sealant for electronics and automotive assemblies. The ready-to-use material requires no mixing and is heat cured above 100°C, with a typical cure condition of 30 minutes at 150°C. Documented applications include sealing lids and housings for electronic control units and power modules, fixing printed circuit-board and system assemblies, and reinforcing connector components. Typical cured properties include Shore A 65 hardness, 1,030 psi tensile strength, 250% elongation, and a specific gravity of 1.3 at 25°C.
