Product Description

INSULCAST® RTVS 8128 Silicone Encapsulant is a dark-gray, two-component, low-viscosity, flame-retardant, reversion-resistant RTV silicone for general-purpose and high-voltage potting applications. The 1:1 system has a typical mixed viscosity of 2,200 cP and a 60 to 90-minute pot life at 25°C, followed by a 24-hour room-temperature cure. After cure, the silicone has Shore A 50 hardness, 0.31 W/m·K thermal conductivity, 550 V/mil dielectric strength, and service from -55°C to 204°C. Published portfolio data state that the product meets UL 94 V-0.
