Product Description
Eccosorb MF-117 Machinable RF Absorber Stock is rigid, magnetically loaded epoxy stock for machining RF and microwave absorbers, attenuators, and terminating elements. The material can be formed into stepped or tapered geometries for waveguide, coaxial, and stripline designs, allowing component dimensions to be refined during prototype evaluation. Standard MF stock is offered as sheets, rods, and bars, while typical MF-117 attenuation rises from 2.8 dB/cm at 1 GHz to 119 dB/cm at 18 GHz. Applications include terminations, attenuating elements, simple RF filters, antenna elements, and selected magnetic components.
