Product Description
LOCTITE GRD CV Medium-Strength Threadlocker is a one-part blue anaerobic liquid for locking and sealing fine-threaded nuts, bolts, and studs. Its 100 to 250 mPa s viscosity supports controlled placement on threaded metal assemblies, while the medium-strength cured bond allows removal with standard hand tools. The material requires no mixing and cures after assembly when confined between close-fitting metal surfaces. After 24 hours at 22 deg C, it develops 8 N m breakaway torque on 3/8 x 24 grade 2 steel fasteners under ISO 10964 testing. Applications include fine-thread fasteners that need secure retention with planned service access.
