Product Description
LOCTITE GRD AV High-Strength Threadlocker is a one-part red anaerobic liquid for locking and sealing large, coarse-threaded nuts, bolts, and studs. Its 100 to 250 mPa s viscosity supports controlled application before assembly, and the high-strength cured bond is intended for fasteners requiring durable retention. After 24 hours at 22 deg C, it develops 7 N m breakaway torque and 11.3 to 28.3 N m prevail torque on 3/8 x 24 grade 2 steel fasteners under ISO 10964 testing. The product requires no mixing; disassembly is performed with localized heat when removal is necessary. Applications include large coarse-threaded metal assemblies where high locking strength is required.
