Product Description
LOCTITE® 246 is a medium to high-strength anaerobic threadlocking adhesive formulated for locking and sealing threaded metal fasteners. The product cures when confined between close-fitting metal surfaces in the absence of air, helping prevent loosening caused by vibration, shock and dynamic loads. LOCTITE 246 provides dependable thread sealing performance, corrosion protection and resistance to industrial fluids while still allowing disassembly using hand tools or localized heat when required. Its balanced viscosity, temperature resistance and durability make it suitable for maintenance, repair, manufacturing and equipment assembly applications involving nuts, bolts, studs and threaded fittings.
