Product Description
LOCTITE® 294™ is a medium-to-high-strength anaerobic threadlocking adhesive designed for the locking and sealing of pre-assembled threaded fasteners. Its low-viscosity formulation enables capillary action, allowing the adhesive to wick into engaged threads without requiring disassembly before application. The product cures when confined between closely fitting metal surfaces in the absence of air, preventing loosening and leakage caused by vibration, shock and dynamic loading. LOCTITE 294 also performs effectively on oil-coated fasteners, making it particularly suitable for maintenance, repair and production environments where disassembly is impractical.
