- Optically Clear Bondline
- Fast Adhesive Cure
- Low-Viscosity Adhesive Application
Product Description
LOCTITE® 404 is a one-component, low-viscosity ethyl cyanoacrylate adhesive engineered for very rapid bonding of plastics and elastomeric materials. The transparent adhesive cures quickly upon exposure to atmospheric moisture and develops handling strength within seconds on many substrates. Its fast fixture speed, excellent adhesion to plastics and rubber, and easy one-part application make it ideal for high-speed industrial assembly and maintenance operations. LOCTITE 404 is also qualified to Commercial Item Description A-A-3097, supporting its use in applications requiring recognized performance standards.
- One-component ethyl cyanoacrylate adhesive requiring no mixing.
- Very fast curing through ambient humidity exposure.
- Low viscosity for rapid wetting and penetration of bonding surfaces.
- Excellent adhesion to plastics and elastomeric materials.
- High production efficiency due to short fixture times.
- Transparent bond line appearance.
- Qualified to Commercial Item Description A‑A‑3097.
Recommended Applications
- Bonding plastics and rubber components.
- High-speed assembly operations.
