Main features
- Thixotropic Application Control
- High-Strength Structural Bonding
- Moisture-Cure Bonding Processing
Product Description
LOCTITE® 454™ is a one-component, high-viscosity thixotropic ethyl cyanoacrylate adhesive designed for bonding difficult-to-bond materials requiring uniform stress distribution and strong tensile and shear strength. Its gel consistency prevents running and dripping, making it ideal for vertical and overhead applications. The adhesive rapidly bonds metals, plastics and elastomers, while also performing well on porous substrates such as wood, paper, leather and fabric. LOCTITE 454 cures in the presence of atmospheric moisture and develops high strength with excellent environmental resistance.
