Main features
- Flexible Cured Adhesive
- Rapid Humidity Cure
- Medium-Viscosity Application Control
Product Description
LOCTITE® 4861™ is a one-component ethyl/butyl cyanoacrylate adhesive specifically formulated to create flexible bond lines while maintaining rapid curing performance. The medium-viscosity adhesive is designed for bonding difficult-to-bond materials including metals, plastics and elastomers, and is especially effective when joining rubber components where joint compressibility must be maintained. It also performs well on porous and absorbent substrates such as paper, leather and fabrics. LOCTITE 4861 has been evaluated to Henkel test protocols based on ISO 10993 biocompatibility standards and is suitable for use in disposable medical device assembly applications.
