Product Description

LOCTITE® AA 3494™ is a one-component, UV and visible light curing modified acrylic adhesive designed for bonding, sealing and potting applications. The transparent adhesive cures within seconds upon exposure to suitable ultraviolet light, producing tough, impact-resistant bonds with excellent resistance to humidity, water immersion and environmental aging. It is particularly well suited for glass bonding applications, including decorative glass assemblies, molded glass products and automotive lighting components where optical clarity and rapid production throughput are required.

Key Features & Benefits

  • UV and visible light curing acrylic adhesive.
  • Fast fixture and cure speeds for high-volume production.
  • Excellent adhesion to glass and dissimilar substrates.
  • Transparent cured appearance with refractive index close to glass.
  • High resistance to humidity, water immersion and environmental exposure.
  • Suitable for bonding, sealing and potting applications.
  • One-component formulation requiring no mixing.

Recommended Applications

  • Glass-to-glass bonding assemblies.
  • Decorative and molded glass products.
  • Automotive lighting component assembly.
