LORD 406E
Harmonization Code : 3907.30.00.40 | Epoxy Mold Compounds containing by weight more than 70 % silicon dioxide

Main features
- High-Impact and Peel Performance
- 6-10 Minute Working Time
- Minimal Metal Surface Preparation
Product Description
LORD 406E Acrylic Adhesive is a non-sag acrylic adhesive component used with LORD Accelerator 17, 19, or 19GB for structural bonding of metals and engineered plastics. The off-white to tan paste has a typical viscosity of 100,000 to 300,000 mPa s at 25 deg C and remains in position on vertical or overhead surfaces. With a recommended accelerator, the mixed system provides a 6 to 10 minute working time, 12 to 17 minute handling-strength time, and 24 hour full cure at 24 deg C. The cured system is formulated for high-impact and high-peel applications from -40 to 149 deg C.
Key features
- High-Impact Acrylic Bonding: Supports bonded assemblies exposed to impact and peel loading.
- 6-10 Minute Working Time: Provides a controlled assembly window when mixed with a recommended accelerator.
- Non-Sag Application: Remains in position on vertical and overhead surfaces.
Applications
Applications include structural bonding of prepared or minimally prepared metals and engineered plastics in assemblies requiring impact or peel resistance.
