Product Description
MOLYKOTE® P-40 (S) Paste is a metal-free adhesive lubrication paste for assembly and continuous lubrication, particularly where components are exposed to corrosive environments such as splash water or humidity. It combines adhesion with documented corrosion protection, water resistance, and anti-fretting characteristics. The paste has a service temperature range of -40 to +121°C (-40 to +250°F), while its solid lubricants are documented for -40 to +1,093°C (-40 to +2,000°F). Typical uses include threaded connections, spline shafts, bearing mounting, brake-system components, commercial-vehicle axles, cams, plain bearings, open gears, and marine applications.
