Product Description
PERMABOND® 108 Cyanoacrylate Adhesive is a single-component, intermediate-viscosity ethyl cyanoacrylate adhesive for bonding through small to intermediate gaps. Its 400–600 mPa·s viscosity supports controlled application and automated dispensing while retaining fast fixture performance. Typical handling strength is reached in approximately 10 seconds on steel, Buna N rubber, and phenolic, with full strength developing in 24 hours. The adhesive bonds plastics, rubber, and metals and provides a maximum recommended gap fill of 0.25 mm. After cure, it delivers high shear strength on steel and selected plastics, 85 Shore D hardness, and useful electrical insulation properties for industrial assembly.
Key features
- Intermediate viscosity: A viscosity of 400–600 mPa·s supports controlled dispensing and bonding across gaps up to 0.25 mm.
- Fast fixture performance: Typical handling strength is reached in approximately 10 seconds on steel, Buna N rubber, and phenolic.
- Multi-material bonding: Documented performance covers steel, ABS, PVC, and polycarbonate, with general suitability for plastics, rubber, and metals.
Applications / Suitable for
- Automated adhesive dispensing
- Bonding parts with small to intermediate gaps
- High-speed industrial assembly
- Bonding plastics, rubber, and metals
