Product Description

Permabond® 922 Cyanoacrylate is an allyl-based, moderate-viscosity adhesive designed to provide both rapid bonding and extreme high-temperature resistance. This single-part, solvent-free liquid cures in seconds at room temperature but incorporates a secondary heat-activated curing mechanism. Following a specific post-cure schedule at 150°C (302°F), the adhesive forms highly durable bonds capable of withstanding environmental temperatures up to 250°C (482°F).

Key features

  • Extreme temperature resistance: Secondary thermal curing enables the bonded assembly to continuously withstand temperatures up to 250°C (482°F).
  • Moderate viscosity: The 1,200-2,000 cP viscosity is formulated to bridge larger gaps up to 0.4 mm while maintaining fast fixture times.
  • Industry approved: Certified to MIL-A-46050C Type V Class 3 specifications for existing designs, ensuring reliable performance in demanding applications.

Applications / Suitable for

  • High-temperature environments requiring continuous resistance up to 250°C after post-cure
  • Bonding metals (steel, aluminum), plastics, and rubbers
  • Applications requiring moderate gap filling capabilities up to 0.4 mm
