Product Description
Permabond® LM113 is a medium-viscosity, low-strength anaerobic threadlocker specifically designed for securing small threaded fasteners, screws, bolts, and hydraulic fittings that may require future disassembly. Formulated as a PFAS-free, 100% solid liquid, it cures rapidly at room temperature when confined between metal parts, providing excellent protection against vibration-induced loosening. Its thixotropic properties ensure the adhesive remains precisely where applied without running, while also lubricating the threads to facilitate easier initial assembly.
Key features
- Low strength for disassembly: Provides a controlled off-torque (Breakaway 9 N-m), allowing for easy maintenance and disassembly of small or delicate fasteners.
- Thixotropic rheology: The medium viscosity (1,200 cP) and thixotropic nature prevent the adhesive from dripping or migrating away from the application area.
- Military and ASTM approved: Meets the strict lot testing requirements of military specification MIL-S-46163A (Type II Grade M) and ASTM D5363 (AN 0311 Group 03 Class 1 Grade 1).
