  • 12 to 14-Minute Working Window
  • Glass-Bead Bondline Control

Product Description

PLEXUS® MA832 Methacrylate Adhesive is a two-part, 10:1 methacrylate structural adhesive for bonding many metals without primer and for selected thermoplastic and composite assemblies. The gray, non-sag mixed adhesive includes glass beads for bondline control and provides a typical 12 to 14 minute working time. Under the documented conditions, it develops 500 psi handling strength in approximately 65 to 70 minutes. The system supports bondline gaps from 0.25 to 13 mm and develops Shore D 71 hardness after cure.

Key features

  • Primerless metal bonding: The adhesive is documented for structural bonding to many metal substrates without a separate primer.
  • 12 to 14-minute working time: The system reaches 500 psi handling strength in approximately 65 to 70 minutes.
  • Wide bondline range: Documented gap capability is 0.25 to 13 mm with glass beads for bondline control.

Applications / Suitable for

  • Structural bonding of metal assemblies
  • Selected thermoplastic assemblies
  • Composite assembly bonding
