Product Description
LOCTITE® STYCAST 2651-40 W1 GOLD is a gold-colored epoxy resin for general potting and encapsulation of metal, plastic, and ceramic assemblies. The material has a typical viscosity of 33,000 mPa·s at 25°C and may be combined with LOCTITE CAT 9 for room-temperature cure or LOCTITE CAT 11 for elevated-temperature cure. The selected catalyst changes mix ratio, pot life, coefficient of thermal expansion, moisture absorption, electrical properties, and operating-temperature range. After cure, the material is documented as machinable with carbide tools.
