- Six-Hour Cure Cycle
- UL 94 V-0 Classification
Product Description
ARALDITE® CW 1446 / ARADUR® HY 2919-1 Epoxy System is a filled, solvent-free two-part epoxy casting and impregnation system for electrical and electronic components. The mineral-filled resin combines with a low-viscosity anhydride hardener to support impregnation where dielectric properties and thermal-shock resistance are required. The system is documented for power diodes, rectifiers, power transistors, transformers, and capacitors. A typical resin-to-hardener ratio of 100:24 by weight and a six-hour cure at 100°C are listed for the combined system, with final properties reported for the cured material.
Key features
- Casting and impregnation system: The filled epoxy resin and low-viscosity anhydride hardener support electrical component processing.
- Dielectric cured property: Typical cured dielectric strength is 25 kV/mm.
- Thermal and flame properties: Typical thermal conductivity is 0.67 W/m·K with UL 94 V-0 classification at 10 mm.
Applications / Suitable for
- Power diodes and rectifiers
- Power transistors
- Transformers and capacitors
