Product Description
BONDERITE C-SO 4460 AERO is a water-white solvent cleaner formulated to replace methyl ethyl ketone and similar solvents for hand-wipe cleaning of metal surfaces prior to painting or bonding, as well as cleaning bearings, instruments, and electronic components. It meets Boeing Specification BMS 11-7G, the basic specification covering wipe solvents. The product evaporates rapidly, leaves no surface residue, and is non-corrosive to ferrous and nonferrous metals, with a vapor pressure of 48 mm Hg. It is used at full strength with clean absorbent cloths. As supplied, it is a clear, colorless liquid with a density of 0.809 to 0.819 g/mL, a shelf life of 24 months, and a recommended storage range of -10 to 40 deg C.
