BOSTIK 940FS
Harmonization Code : 3919.10.80 | Other self-adhesive plastic rolls not exceeding 20 cm wide.

Main features
- 10-Minute Cure Cycle
- Adhesion and Mechanical Performance of Polyurethane
- Primerless Glass-to-Aluminum Bonding
Product Description
Bostik Marine 940 Fast Set Adhesive/Sealant is a one-component, rapidly moisture-curing adhesive and sealant based on Silyl Modified Polymer (SMP) technology. Designed for demanding marine environments, it combines the adhesion and mechanical performance of a polyurethane with the flexibility and UV resistance of a silicone. The solvent-free, isocyanate-free formulation provides permanent elastic bonding, excellent weatherability, fast skin formation, and strong primerless adhesion to many marine substrates for above- and below-the-waterline applications. :contentReference[oaicite:0]{index=0}
Key Features
- Fast-setting SMP adhesive with approximately 10-minute skin time and one-day cure for rapid assembly.
- Primerless adhesion to aluminum, steel, fiberglass, EPDM rubber, PVC, glass, and painted surfaces in many applications.
- Excellent UV and weather resistance with permanent elasticity from -40°C to 100°C.
- Solvent-free and isocyanate-free formulation that is paintable after skin formation and sandable after full cure.
