Product Description
CONATHANE® EN-2550 Polyurethane Encapsulant is a two-component, filled, flame-retardant polyurethane potting system for electronic components, circuit boards, modules, assemblies, and high-voltage transformers. The black system is documented for low-stress cure, low exotherm, low shrinkage, electrical insulation, and thermal-shock resistance. It may cure at room or elevated temperature and is resistant to water, aliphatic hydrocarbons, mild acids, and mild bases. Published portfolio data identify 3,000 cP initial mixed viscosity, Shore D 65 hardness, UL 94 V-0 classification, and electrical and mechanical RTI values of 50°C and 120°C.
