Product Description

CONATHANE® TU-79MF Polyurethane Tooling Elastomer is an unfilled, two-component, room-temperature-curing, 100% solids polyurethane system for casting and potting abrasion-resistant elastomeric parts. The clear light-amber system is documented for metal-polishing and finishing linings, industrial wheels, metal-forming pads, flexible molds, washers, gaskets, bushings, and vibration, shock, or sound-damping pads. It uses a 100:45 mix ratio by weight or volume and has a typical initial mixed viscosity of 4,000 cP with a 25 to 35-minute work life. Typical cured properties include Shore A 78 hardness and 750% elongation.
