Main features
- High-Temperature Flexible Sealing
- High-Pressure Sealing up to 34 MPa
- One-Part No-Mix Application
Product Description
LOCTITE NS 5109 High Temperature Gasket Maker is a one-part, solvent-based gray sealing paste for sealing flanges, threaded connections, fasteners, and gasket assemblies in industrial equipment. The slow-drying material cures by solvent evaporation and remains pliable and flexible from -45 to 315 deg C. It applies without mixing to cork, paper, plastic, and metal surfaces. The high-viscosity paste resists oils, fuels, lubricants, and chemicals in gasket service and seals pressures up to 34 MPa in high-pressure assemblies.
Key features
- High-temperature sealing: Seals from -45 to 315 deg C while remaining pliable and flexible.
- High-pressure gasket service: Seals pressures up to 34 MPa in gasket and threaded-connection applications.
- One-part paste application: The high-viscosity solvent-based paste applies without mixing to cork, paper, plastic, and metal.
Applications
Applications include gaskets, flanges, threaded connections, fasteners, aircraft heating systems, manifolds, pipe fittings, steam lines, gearboxes, and cover plates.
