Product Description
LOCTITE UK 3184 Polyurethane Hardener functions as the polyurethane hardener component specified for the LOCTITE UK 3173 / UK 3184 potting system. The opaque white material has a typical viscosity of 14,000 mPa s and specific gravity of 1.45 to 1.46 at 25 deg C. When combined with UK 3173 resin at 1:4.8 by volume or 15:85 by weight, the mixture has 2,250 mPa s viscosity, a 45 minute work time, and a 24 hour room-temperature cure. Cured properties, including Shore A 80 hardness and a -15 deg C glass transition temperature, apply only to the complete resin-hardener system.
