Product Description
INSULCAST RTVS 3-95-2 Thermally Conductive Silicone Potting Compound is a two-part, 1:1 red-and-white RTV silicone system for thermally conductive electrical potting and encapsulation. Parts A and B each have a typical viscosity of 35,000 cP at 25 deg C, and the mixed material provides a 1.5-hour pot life at the same temperature. Room-temperature and accelerated heat-cure schedules support different production windows. After cure, the silicone combines 1.44 W/(m K) thermal conductivity with electrical insulation, 85 Shore A hardness, and a service range from -55 to 260 deg C. Applications include protected electronic assemblies requiring heat transfer and dielectric performance.
Key features
- Simple 1:1 mixing: Parts A and B use the same ratio by weight or volume
- Flexible cure scheduling: Room-temperature and accelerated heat-cure options are available
- Thermal and electrical function: Cured material combines 1.44 W/(m K) conductivity with dielectric properties
Applications
Potting and encapsulation of electronic assemblies requiring thermal conductivity, electrical insulation, and high-temperature service.
