Product Description
SILASTIC RTV-3112 Mold-Making Base is a white, general-purpose condensation-cure silicone base for producing simple molds without deep undercuts. The base has a typical viscosity of 280 poise (28,000 cP) and a specific gravity of 1.30 at 25 deg C, supporting pourable processing and reproduction of detailed patterns. A compatible catalyst is selected and added separately to establish the working and cure profile; the base is not a complete mold-making system by itself. Use is limited to mold geometries, catalyst ratios, release practices, and cure conditions validated for the intended pattern and casting material.
