Product Description
SILASTIC RTV-3120 Mold-Making Base is a red, high-temperature condensation-cure silicone base for producing molds within a documented catalyst and cure system. The base has a typical viscosity of 280 poise (28,000 cP) and a specific gravity of 1.45 at 25 deg C, supporting pourable processing and reproduction of intricate details. A compatible catalyst is selected and added separately; the base alone does not represent the cured mold rubber or its final performance. Use is limited to validated mold geometry, catalyst ratio, release practice, cure schedule, casting material, and service conditions.
