Huntsman
Huntsman Structural Adhesives, Electrical Insulation and Composite Materials
Huntsman Advanced Materials develops materials for structural bonding, electrical protection, composite manufacturing, and industrial tooling. Its portfolio includes epoxy, acrylic and polyurethane structural adhesives; epoxy and polyurethane casting, potting and insulation systems; thermoset resin systems for composite processing; and specialized materials for tooling and moldmaking. Huntsman technologies support applications where material selection must account for substrates, processing method, cure requirements, service environment, electrical performance, or composite manufacturing conditions.
As an authorized Huntsman distributor, Krayden supports customers evaluating Huntsman materials for bonding, encapsulation and electrical insulation, composite processing, and tooling applications. Our team can help compare material families, review substrate and process requirements, and identify appropriate candidates based on application conditions and manufacturing needs.
Markets Served by Huntsman

Structural Adhesives
Huntsman's structural adhesive portfolio includes epoxy, acrylic or methacrylate, and polyurethane technologies for joining metals, composites, plastics and other engineered substrates. Different adhesive families address different combinations of stiffness, flexibility, gap filling, cure speed, surface preparation and environmental exposure. Material selection should therefore be based on the exact substrates, joint geometry, production process, cure conditions and expected service environment.
Potting, Encapsulation and Electrical Insulation Materials
Huntsman offers epoxy and polyurethane resin systems for potting, casting, encapsulation, impregnation and electrical insulation applications. These materials are used around electronic components and electrical equipment including transformers, motors, coils, sensors, control devices and power electronics. Appropriate material selection depends on processing method, viscosity and flow requirements, component sensitivity, cure conditions, electrical insulation needs, thermal behavior and expected environmental exposure.
Composite Materials and Resin Systems
Huntsman's Advanced Materials portfolio includes resin systems and thermoset technologies for industrial and high-performance composite manufacturing. Supported processes include laminating, wet lay-up, infusion, resin transfer molding, filament winding, pultrusion and other pressure-assisted methods, depending on the resin system. Selection should reflect reinforcement type, part geometry, process temperature, viscosity and working-time requirements, cure strategy, production volume and the performance required from the finished composite.
Tooling and Moldmaking Materials
Huntsman maintains epoxy, polyurethane and related resin technologies for moldmaking, tooling, fixtures, prototypes and composite-tool construction. Current REN-branded materials include resin, gel, infusion and rapid-processing technologies that can be matched to different mold geometries and manufacturing methods. Selection should consider the master or mold material, required surface finish, cure and demolding conditions, tool operating temperature, dimensional requirements and the intended production process.
